Masks are also mandatory for staff at childcare facilities, as well as students and staff in higher education including TAFEs and universities.
Teaching staff are permitted to remove their mask if teaching at the front of the classroom to enable clear enunciation.
People who need to leave the Perth and Peel region for essential purposes must wear a mask at all times in other regions of WA, as per the rules in place for Perth and Peel.

To our valued customers, fellow community members and friends,
As the world navigates this unprecedented COVID-19 global pandemic, we want to assure our loyal customers and the community that we are doing everything we can and taking every necessary precaution to promote a safe environment for all. I am a Pharmacist with over 40 years’ experience and I’ve never witnessed anything like what we’re all going through presently.
We at Wizard Pharmacy are currently working on a strategy to ensure that, as a group of passionate and committed frontline healthcare professionals, all Wizard Pharmacies will be able to continue to support our local communities. We have implemented the following protocols in our Pharmacies to help reduce the risk of spread and keep them a safe space for all.
Our in-store teams are currently cleaning and disinfecting our Pharmacies multiple times a day.
All team members exhibiting any flu-like symptoms must remain at home and seek medical attention.
We are putting out daily communication to team members, so they remain armed with the most up to date information to share with you, including education on good hygiene practises and social distancing.
We are working towards increasing team resources at our Pharmacies to meet the increased demand of the community.
We will continue to update best practice protocols as the situation evolves.
The uncertainty around COVID-19 has seen extremely high and unpredictable demand for certain products and services. We understand this can be stressful but rest assured; we’re working hard with our teams and suppliers in an effort to meet this unusual demand. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
