If you require an Absence from Work Certificate for a minor ailment and are unable to access your Doctor, your Wizard Pharmacist can help. During the consultation our pharmacist will assess the illness or injury and determine the period of time off work for which the certificate will be issued. Pharmacist are only able to issue certificates for up to a maximum period of two days and will use their professional judgement to determine the suitable period.

Absence from Work Certificates are issued at the Pharmacist’s discretion. Pharmacists can only issue certificates for conditions they are professionally qualified to assess and cannot backdate certificates. When writing Absence from Work Certificates for a carer, the person who is ill must be present.
